Theme requirements

All themes must meet a minimum standard of quality to be considered for sale on the Lightspeed theme store.

Back-end

Background-image

Uploading a background image must be available. The following image values must be available to the background image:

• no repeat
• repeat
• vertical
• horizontal

Colors

All colors present in the front-end can be customized within the theme settings. This includes:

• H1, H2, H3, text
• Links, active, hover
• Header color
• Background-color
• Element colors (navigation, top bar, etc)
• Border color (if present)
• Button color
• Footer color

Fonts

The shop must be able to choose from a variety of fonts for the following elements:

• H1, H2, H3, text
• Links
• Navigation

Logo & Favicon

A logo image and favicon image must be available.

Settings

The theme settings must use the acceptable words Lightspeed uses to describe features, elements and industry lingo.

Code

First and foremost, all themes must meet the Accessibility, Design, Page speed, and SEO requirements outlined in this guide.
